3. Collection and use of personal data.
a) Visiting our website
When you visit our website, the browser used on your device automatically sends information to the server of our website. This information is temporarily stored in a so-called log file. The following information is recorded without your intervention and stored until it is automatically deleted.
TYPE OF DATA AND PROCESSING
Name of the accessed file, date and time of access, amount of data transferred, notification on whether file access was successful, a description of the type of web browser used, operating system of the user, the last page visited, provider, your IP address.
The data listed will be processed by us for the following purposes:
- Ensuring a smooth connection to the website
- Evaluation of system security and stability
- For other administrative purposes
LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING
The legal basis for data processing is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest arises from the purposes listed above for data collection. Under no circumstances do we use the data collected for the purpose of drawing conclusions about you personally.
Such file elements enable the identification of your computer as a technical unit while you visit in order to facilitate your use of our services – even during repeat visits.
However, your Internet browser generally gives you the option to edit your settings so that you are informed of the occurrence of cookies so that you can accept or reject them, as well as the option to delete existing cookies.
Cookies do not allow a server to read private data from your computer or data stored by another server. Cookies do not harm your computer and do not contain viruses.
b) Using our service
StoreBoost creates geo-specific ads for its customers (agencies and advertisers) that are displayed in specific mobile app ad spaces.
StoreBoost uses, among other things, real-time data processing to obtain location data from users of ad-financed mobile apps.
StoreBoost obtains this data from the technical service provider Platform Lunar, who collects this data.
The location data are used once for each user to display a geo-specific advertisement and are then deleted.
TYPE OF DATA AND PROCESSING:
The data used are exclusively location data (“latitude/longitude) of an otherwise anonymous app user for StoreBoost.
Processing is electronic, i.e. the data are used once to display an ad to a user.
The data will not be stored and will not be passed on to third parties by StoreBoost.
The location data are used once for each user to display a geo-specific advertisement and then deleted.
The data are processed for the advertising purposes of StoreBoost’s customers (agencies, advertisers).
LEGAL BASIS OF THE PROCESSING
Art 6 (1) (f) GDPR
The legitimate interest arises from StoreBoost’s underlying business model of providing its advertisers with geo-specific ads. Implementation is not possible without using the data described above (location data). The user of an ad-financed app, in turn, must assume that advertisements will be displayed.
INFORMATION OF THE CONCERNED
according to Art 14 GDPR
StoreBoost obtains the user’s location data via the technical service provider Platform Lunar. In this respect, StoreBoost does not collect the data itself.

5. Rights of data subjects
Right of access:
You have the right to request confirmation from us whether personal data concerning you will be processed.
Correction, deletion, restriction of processing:
You have the right to ask us to correct, delete and/or restrict the use of any inaccurate personal data concerning you.
Right to data portability:
You have the right to receive personal data that you have provided to us and to transfer it to another person responsible.
Right of revocation:
You have the right to withdraw your consent at any time. The withdrawal of consent shall not affect the lawfulness of processing taking place on the basis of this consent before its revocation.
Right of appeal:
If you believe that the processing of your personal data concerning you violates the GDPR, you have the right of appeal to a supervisory authority, without prejudice to other rights of appeal.
